Who is Janelle Ryan?
A social observer, people connector, creative thinker, relationship builder, project leader and public speaker – Above all, Janelle Ryan is an expert communicator.
After working with some of the world’s top PR agencies, in both the UK and Australia, Janelle launched The Little PR Company in 2009, bringing her international learnings of the PR industry to clients in the Central Highlands region.
Janelle has built strong relationships over her years as a consultant and has managed campaigns for an extremely diverse client base, cutting across industry sectors including – Public Sector, Health, Corporate, NFP and Arts.
After many years of working in Public Relations, ten of which have been in senior communications and stakeholder engagement roles in corporate and government sectors, an unfortunate personal experience lead me to undertake a large amount of self-reflection.
This experience drove a desire to explore a deeper understanding of the law, particularly in the areas of human rights and advocacy; and to pursue a Juris Doctor Law Degree with Deakin University; and a career in law and strategy with the incredible team at Lacey & Co. The Integrity Group.
With the belief that success is defined not only by how much paid work you do but also how involved you are with the community you operate within, Janelle also holds the following positions:
- Board Director – The Sovereign Hill Museums Association
- Learning Partner – Leadership Ballarat & Western Region
- Founder – Left of the Clique networking & learning
